The first university People's Congress representative liaison station in Nanchong has landed at Nanchong Film Industry Vocational College

On the afternoon of September 21st, the People's Congress Representative Liaison Station of Nanchong Film Industry Vocational College was officially unveiled and put into use. This is the first People's Congress Representative Liaison Station of a university in Nanchong City. More than 50 resident representatives, school enterprise cooperation units, and student and teacher representatives from Sichuan Province, Nanchong City, and Shunqing District witnessed the launch of the station.

This liaison station is built in accordance with the construction standards of the provincial People's Congress representative liaison station, relying on the characteristics of the school's film and television major, and exploring the formation of a characteristic performance model of "film and television+representatives". The stationed team is composed of three provincial, municipal, and district level university representatives and nine specially invited representatives from prestigious universities and enterprises, covering multiple fields such as education, industry, law, and healthcare, and can comprehensively respond to the diverse needs of campus development and the growth of teachers and students.

In terms of responding to demands, the site implements a fixed reception day, offline attendance, and online interaction operation mechanism, relying on mini programs and campus live streaming rooms to build digital performance channels, listen to the voices of teachers and students on a regular basis, and efficiently handle various demands in a closed loop. In terms of educational practice, the site innovatively launches immersive activities such as simulating the National People's Congress, representative assistants, and young entrepreneurs face-to-face, cultivating young students' democratic literacy and legal thinking through real-life classrooms. Simultaneously set up campus voter service points within the station to provide convenient services such as election policy consultation and voter information registration for teachers and students, and guide young people to participate in democratic practices in an orderly manner.

Next, the liaison station will be based on the characteristics of university education, fully activate six functions including public opinion collection, school enterprise collaboration, practical education, and regional services, and focus on building a complete work loop of tripartite consultation, suggestion transformation, and diversified supervision among schools, enterprises, and National People's Congress deputies. It will promote the win-win situation of representative performance, school development, and local empowerment, and provide a new practical sample for improving the grassroots governance system of school local linkage and collaborative performance.

As the first liaison station for university people's congress representatives in the city, the opening of this station has opened up the "last mile" for people's congress representatives to contact university teachers and students. It has not only built a normalized communication bridge for teachers and students to express their demands, but also opened up a new platform for deepening the integration of industry and education and the coordinated development of schools and localities. In the future, the station will continue to enrich its service content and innovate its activity forms, promote resonance between educational resources and local industrial development, and inject new momentum into the high-quality development of vocational education and regional industrial upgrading.
