Mobile science and Technology Museum enters the campus, scientific spirit inspires youth

On the afternoon of June 16, the launching ceremony of Yingshan station of China Mobile science and Technology Museum's Sichuan tour exhibition and the Sichuan scientists' spirit propaganda activity of "building dreams through science and pursuing light" were held in the science and innovation center of Yingshan middle school.

After the launching ceremony, the students went to the exhibition hall on the third floor of the science and innovation center to visit and experience. In the exhibition hall, there are four exhibition areas: sound and light experience, electromagnetic exploration, movement law and mathematical charm. 75 interactive popular science exhibits are arranged neatly, and six interesting science performance shows are staged in turn. The students operated the "paper clips for dancing", "invisible force" and "pull yourself" and other exhibits with their own hands, and felt the magical mysteries of electromagnetism, mechanics and optics in their hands-on experience. There were exclamations and laughter from time to time.

Later, qiaoguiquan, director of the audio-visual center of Taihang National Laboratory and member of the first group of Sichuan Province to promote the spirit of scientists, gave a lecture on the theme of "flying Chinese heart" to the teachers and students of Yingshan middle school. Based on his own experience in the aviation industry, he vividly told the development process of China's aero-engine industry from scratch and from weak to strong, and interpreted the patriotic, innovative, realistic and dedicated spirit of scientists, touching stories and vivid cases of generations of scientific researchers, which deeply touched the teachers and students present.

"Today, I personally operated many interesting scientific exhibits and listened to the stories of aviation scientists. It turns out that the scientific research work is so great!" the students expressed that they should learn from the spirit of scientists' silent dedication to national development, study hard in the future, and contribute to strengthening the country through science and technology in the future.

It is understood that the itinerant exhibition of the mobile science and Technology Museum will last for two months (from June 12 to August 12). Before the summer vacation, primary and secondary school students will be mainly organized to pay a visit. During the summer vacation, it will be open to the public of the whole county free of charge. The event deeply integrated the science popularization exhibition with the propaganda of the spirit of scientists, so that teenagers can feel the charm of science and inherit the scientific spirit in an immersive experience, and further promote the high-quality development of science popularization in the county.
