Labor tempered growth, craftsmanship forged the future

In order to promote the spirit of model workers, cultivate labor concepts, and guide students to establish correct labor values, recently, under the guidance of the Student Department of Nanchong Transportation Technical School, Class 6 of 2024 held a public class meeting on the theme of "Labor Tempering Growth". All class teachers were present to study and observe.

At the beginning of the class meeting, the homeroom teacher Bu Pan used "the definition of labor" as a starting point to inspire students to think about the deep connotations of labor. Classmates interacted and enthusiastically shared their "most beautiful workers" in their hearts. Ordinary yet great professions such as firefighters, doctors, and teachers were frequently mentioned, and sincere words expressed deep respect. Subsequently, Teacher Liu Xuancai, based on his own experience participating in vocational skills competitions, talked about the sweat and gains of preparing for the competition, using vivid cases to tell students that labor is not only physical exertion, but also the tempering of skills and the accumulation of craftsmanship. Teacher Bu took the opportunity to discuss dormitory hygiene management and demanded that students adhere to daily tasks such as organizing internal affairs and maintaining cleanliness. Cultivate a sense of labor and develop good habits through small details.

Finally, Teacher Bu issued an initiative to the students, calling for the practice of the labor spirit of "diligence, hard work, innovation, and dedication", which should be internalized in their hearts and externalized in their actions. The whole class signed the "Labor Agreement" together, marking a successful conclusion to this class meeting.

After the observation, the student department organized a special exchange seminar, and the attending class teachers highly praised the effectiveness of this class meeting. They unanimously agreed that the classroom was based on the definition of labor, the guidance of role models in cognition, and the practice of dormitory hygiene, which progressed layer by layer, with both ideological height and living temperature. Director Tang Wei emphasized in the summary that labor education is an important part of students' comprehensive development. It is necessary to organically combine labor education with gratitude education, professional ethics cultivation, and habit formation, and build a normalized and three-dimensional labor education system to guide students to hone their character through hard work and sweat, and gain growth through practice.

This themed class meeting is a vivid practice of the school's moral education work.
