The most beautiful April day in the world is the fragrance of books that can bring far-reaching effects. On the occasion of the 31st World Book Day, in order to further promote the construction of a "bookish campus", implement the fundamental task of cultivating morality and educating people, guide students to develop good habits of loving reading, reading good books, and being good at reading, and create a strong campus cultural atmosphere, on April 23rd, the Teaching Department of Nanchong No.11 Middle School carefully organized all students to enter the library and reading room, and carry out immersive themed reading activities, allowing students to have a dialogue with classics in the mist of ink, and to draw strength for growth through quiet reading.

On the day of the event, under the unified organization of the teaching department teachers, students from each class entered the library and reading room in an orderly manner. In a clean and bright reading space, bookshelves are neatly arranged, and a variety of books are available, covering literary classics, popular science encyclopedias, historical biographies, Chinese and foreign classics, prose and poetry, inspirational growth, and other categories, providing students with a rich and diverse spiritual granary. Classmates are full of enthusiasm, shuttling between bookshelves, carefully selecting their favorite books, and then sitting quietly, quickly immersing themselves in the world of reading.

During the reading process, students showed focused expressions and proper posture, with some bowing their heads and carefully reading, exploring the mysteries of knowledge in the text; Some softly communicate their insights and share their thoughts and gains from reading; Some carefully extract good words and sentences to accumulate writing materials; Some carefully read classic texts and feel the cultural heritage behind them.  

This World Book Day reading activity not only provides students with a high-quality platform to get close to books and enjoy reading, but also allows them to broaden their horizons, cultivate their emotions, and cultivate their character through immersive reading.
