Singing the Song of Yingshan in the Sound, Drawing a Blueprint for the Party with Childlike Hearts in the Era

Children's voices narrate the affairs of the family and state, while youth pursues dreams and praises the glory. On April 13th, the first "Wenxuan Cup" Youth Patriotic Reading and Education Activity in Yingshan County, Nanchong City, Sichuan Province, kicked off with a spectacular performance of primary school students telling stories and middle school students giving speeches. Primary and secondary school students from various districts of the county competed on the same stage, using vivid stories and strong language to express their pride in the development of their hometown and their longing for the future of the motherland, showcasing the spirit of loving the Party, loving the country, and striving for progress among young people in the new era.

This event is hosted by the Propaganda Department of Yingshan County Committee and the County Education and Sports Bureau, and organized by Xicheng Experimental Junior High School, Xicheng Experimental Primary School, and Yingshan County Xinhua Wenxuan. With the theme of "Drawing a New Era of Reform Blue Map", three competitions including essay writing, storytelling, and speeches will be held simultaneously.

On the field, the young contestants were full of energy and graceful, combining their reading insights with real-life examples around them to integrate their patriotism into every word. The children in the elementary school group use their immature yet firm voices to narrate the changes in transportation from "Deep in the White Clouds" to "In front of the Highway Gate" and the happy transformation of "Three Generations' Road to School". One by one, they tell down-to-earth stories that vividly depict the ever-changing scenery of Yingshan under the spring breeze of reform; The middle school contestants, on the other hand, presented brilliant speeches such as "The Wind Knows the Answer" and "Where the Light Shines" from a more critical perspective. From the development of the times to the responsibility of young people, from personal growth to the fate of the country, the emotional and vivid performances resonated strongly with the audience, and applause erupted one after another.

After on-site scoring and strict evaluation by the judges, the winners of each competition have been officially announced. In the essay competition, five works including Wang Yaxuan's "Happiness Answer Sheet in Times of Change" and Quan Jinxuan's "From the Deep of Baiyun to the Front of the Highway Gate" won first prize in the primary school category, while six works including Wu Zihan's "Wind Knows the Answer" and Zhang Yuxuan's "Serious Work" won first prize in the secondary school category; In the storytelling competition, Tang Yuxin, Tang Xiaoxuan, and Mao Yuechen won the first prize in the elementary school category; In the speech competition, Zheng Jiayue, Zhao Junxi, and Li Yuyue won the first prize in the middle school group. Fourteen teachers, including Duan Zuowu and Cai Ying, were awarded the title of "Excellent Guidance Teacher". The education supervision group of the directly affiliated area, Xicheng Experimental Junior High School, and Yunfeng Experimental Primary School were also awarded the "Excellent Organization Award". Subsequently, 10 essays and 1 outstanding contestant will be selected from each group based on their score ranking to represent Yingshan County in the Nanchong Youth Patriotic Reading and Education Activity Selection Competition.

This event uses books as a medium and voice to convey emotions, not only providing a platform for young people in the county to showcase themselves and communicate their growth, but also allowing the spirit of patriotism to subtly infiltrate their childlike innocence.
