Walking through the mountains and cities to search for roots, studying and forging the spirit of Bayu
Read ten thousand books and travel ten thousand miles. On April 18th, the morning light began to emerge and the breeze was not dry. Under the careful organization of the school, the teachers and students of the junior high school department of Nanchong No.11 Middle School embarked on a study tour to Chongqing Liangjiang Film and Television City and Longxing Ancient Town. The theme of this study is "Searching for Roots and Red Memories, Appreciating Bayu Culture", aiming to broaden students' horizons through walking and hone their character through practice.

Chaofa Nanbin, orderly. At 6:40 in the morning, all teachers, instructors, and tour guides arrived at their posts on time. Each class assembled in two columns, counted the number of people, and was ready to go. The convoy traveled along the Ring Expressway, passing through Shanghai Chengdu and Yinkun, all the way to Chongqing. Outside the car window, the mountains and rivers were picturesque, and the students were filled with anticipation.
Offering flowers to honor heroes and inspiring young people. At 10:30 am, the team arrived at Liangjiang Film and Television City. A solemn flower laying ceremony was held at the Liberation Monument Square. Teachers and students stood solemnly, presenting flower baskets with respect, and leaders delivered powerful speeches. At this moment, the echoes of history interweave with the vows of youth, and the red genes are silently passed down. Subsequently, the students watched a performance of the scenic area's characteristic face changing program, immersing themselves in the turbulent years.

Strolling through the ancient town, the ancient charm lingers on. After lunch, students conducted free activities at Liangjiang Film and Television City. Strolling through the wax museum, celebrity wax figures come to life vividly, historical figures are within reach, and students either concentrate on observing or communicate in low voices, as if traveling through time and space, conversing with the ancients; Strolling through the streets and alleys of the Republic of China, students gather in groups of three or five, taking photos as mementos and lingering on. Subsequently, the team moved to Longxing Ancient Town. Under the South Dragon Gate, the bluestone road winds and turns, and the old houses and temples remain silent. In this living history museum, students measure time with their footsteps and appreciate tradition with their hearts.

The way of learning is to integrate knowledge with action. As the ancient saying goes, "What is learned on paper is shallow, and what is truly understood requires practice." This trip to Chongqing is not only a walking classroom, but also a spiritual baptism. Students draw strength from the red ruins, cultivate emotions in the alleys of ancient towns, learn self-discipline through collective action, and build a bridge of understanding between history and reality.
Traveling far away, feeling inferior when climbing high. May our generation of young people, starting from this behavior, embrace our family and country, be down-to-earth, and continue to write the chapter of youth in a broader journey of life. (Shu Yu)
