Grain Rain Sows New Green Seeds and Peas, Hoping for New Sprouts

In order to enable children to perceive the rhythm of solar terms and touch the vitality of nature, Qingpingguo Xiaolong Kindergarten in Gaoping District, Nanchong City has launched a themed activity on the Grain Rain solar term, using beans as seeds to participate in a spring life pact.

Rain produces a hundred grains, and all things compete for growth. This is the unique phenology of late spring and also a good season for sowing and nurturing. The children sit around and listen, their eyes filled with curiosity about nature. Through storytelling, they perceive the romance and poetry of traditional solar terms.

The teacher explained the method of sprouting bean sprouts one by one, touching the plump mung beans with fingertips and telling the life force inside the beans. The children placed the mung beans properly and carefully watered them with water. Green beans, carrying innocence and anticipation, quietly lie dormant in the warm spring sun, waiting to sprout from the ground.

A handful of new beans, a childlike charm, a gentle encounter with late spring. This event aims to infuse traditional solar term culture into children's hearts, allowing them to experience the beauty of life growth through hands-on planting.
