Students from Nanchong Film Industry Vocational College won third prize in a national competition

Recently, the 18th National 3D Digital Innovation Design Competition 2025 Finals came to a successful conclusion in Beijing. The team of "Gravitational Wave Creators" majoring in Virtual Reality Technology Application at the School of Digital Intelligence Media, Nanchong Film Industry Vocational College, won the third prize in the national "Digital Industrial Design" competition with their work "Flowing Cloud Box".

The National 3D Digital Innovation Design Competition is a national A-level competition guided by multiple ministries such as the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Science and Technology, and the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology. The theme of this competition is "Integration of Digital and Intelligence, Creating the Future", focusing on the integration of 3D digitalization with cutting-edge technologies such as artificial intelligence and metaverse, aiming to cultivate high-quality digital and intelligent talents.

Under the guidance of Professor Yang Lingjian, a team consisting of four students, Yang Chengxiao, Li Jiangshan, Yu Xiaokai, and Shen Hechuang, developed the "Flowing Cloud Box" solution to address the pain points of food delivery tilting and insufficient temperature control in the "last mile" of urban logistics. The work integrates 3D modeling and intelligent control technology, with functions such as anti shake fixation, precise temperature control, and intelligent positioning. It has won the special prize in the Sichuan competition area and the third prize in the national finals.

The team stated that during the preparation period, the school provided advanced equipment and professional guidance. Through repeated optimization and collaboration, the entire process from research, modeling to testing was completed, demonstrating solid professional abilities and innovative consciousness.

The Southern Film Virtual Reality Technology Application major adheres to the dual track training of "theory+practice", promotes the integration of industry and education, actively organizes students to participate in high-level competitions, promotes learning through competitions, and continuously delivers skilled talents for the digital creative industry.
