Nanchong, Sichuan: Wang Yueyu's team from Longmen Middle School won the first prize in the municipal teaching competition

Recently, the evaluation results of the 2025 Nanchong City Primary and Secondary School Experimental Teaching Ability Exhibition were announced. The team led by Professor Wang Yueyu from Nanchong Longmen Middle School won the first prize in the high school physics subject category with solid professional competence, innovative experimental design, and wonderful on-site display.

Teacher Wang's lecture content revolves around four dimensions: "physical concepts, scientific thinking, scientific exploration, scientific attitude and responsibility", and sets teaching objectives. In terms of experimental design, with Boyle's law as the core, combined with students' cognitive level and operational ability, a simple scientific device was self-made. Through four innovative points, the teaching difficulties were effectively solved. In terms of teaching process, a complete exploration chain is constructed, and practical situations are introduced to arouse interest. Group discussions are organized to improve the experimental plan, cultivate collaborative thinking ability, guide students to complete practical operations, data recording and analysis in a standardized manner, clarify Boyle's law and extend post class thinking, fully highlight the student's subject status, and effectively infiltrate various scientific methods. At the same time, differentiated teaching improvement plans are proposed to address the difficulties in student data processing, reflecting the concept of individualized teaching and demonstrating deep thinking on teaching details.

With the guidance and assistance of the team teachers, the young teachers of the school achieved excellent results in this competition activity, which not only demonstrated the rapid growth of young teachers, but also another manifestation of the fruitful results of the school's "Green and Blue Project".
