In order to thoroughly implement the deployment of fire safety work in the city's education and sports system, effectively build a strong campus fire safety defense line, enhance the fire safety awareness and emergency response capabilities of teachers and students, during the National Fire Safety Promotion Month in 2025, Longmen Middle School in Nanchong, Sichuan Province planned and carried out a series of fire safety themed activities with the theme of "prevention first, life first". From practical testing of fire emergency evacuation drills, to precise prevention and control of regular monthly hidden danger inspections, to various forms of publicity and education such as themed class meetings, campus broadcasts, and news push notifications, we have comprehensively built a safe campus fire safety barrier.

At the scene of the fire emergency evacuation drill on November 6th, it only took 4 minutes for teachers and students to complete the evacuation assembly, count and report. The entire drill process was tense, orderly, standardized and efficient. At the assembly site, comrades from Xinghan Road Special Duty Fire Station in Nanchong City provided detailed comments on the drill process, demonstrated the correct use of fire extinguishers and hydrants on site, and guided teachers and students hand in hand to carry out practical operations.

At the same time, pay attention to creating a publicity atmosphere for campus fire emergency evacuation drills. The broadcasting room broadcasts "tips on fire safety knowledge" and fire warning cases at regular intervals in the morning, middle, and evening every day; In the corridors of key areas such as teaching buildings, canteens, and dormitory buildings, more than 10 promotional display boards showcase fire safety knowledge with pictures and text; 24-hour scrolling display of theme slogans on electronic screens; The school's WeChat official account and video number push the school's fire drill activities. Build a multi-dimensional propaganda matrix of "visual, auditory, and tactile" in all aspects, so that the concept of "everyone talks about fire safety, understands fire safety, and guards fire safety" can deeply penetrate the hearts of teachers and students.

In addition to targeted emergency drills, the school has also put the concept of "prevention first" into practice, established a normalized fire safety hazard investigation mechanism, and clarified that before the 15th of each month, the security department will take the lead in conducting a comprehensive fire safety facility and equipment hazard investigation on the campus.
