In order to implement the theme requirements of this year's National Fire Month "National Fire Protection, Life First - Safe Use of Fire and Electricity", further strengthen the fire safety awareness of teachers and students, enhance emergency evacuation and self rescue capabilities, and strengthen the campus fire safety defense line, on November 6th, Longmen Middle School in Nanchong, Sichuan Province organized the 119 fire emergency evacuation drill and fire safety knowledge training activity. This drill specially invited comrades from Xinghan Road Special Fire Station in Nanchong City to provide fire safety knowledge training. Teachers and students from the first and second grades of high school and junior high school participate in drills and training.

At 16:35, the commander-in-chief and executive principal of the drill, Zhang Limei, promptly signaled the start of the drill. In an instant, the urgent alarm sounded over the campus, and firefighters released smoke below each hallway, simulating a real fire scene. After receiving the signal, each class immediately stopped classes, and the homeroom teacher quickly arrived and calmly organized students to carry out evacuation drills.

During the evacuation process, students strictly followed the principle of "one lane to the right, bow and walk low", quickly covering their mouths and noses with clothing corners or tissues, and holding onto the stair railing or wall tightly with their right hand to avoid crowding and falling. At 16:45, all students safely evacuated to the designated assembly point - the playground. The entire evacuation process was tense and orderly, fully demonstrating the good emergency literacy of teachers and students.

At the subsequent fire safety training site, comrades from the special fire station provided fire prevention and extinguishing safety knowledge and skills training for teachers and students. The training, combined with recent typical fire cases, explained the causes of fires, fire alarm techniques, initial fire extinguishing methods, and key points for escape and self rescue in different scenarios; The correct use of fire extinguishers, fire hydrants and other firefighting equipment was demonstrated on site, and the fire safety questions raised by teachers and students were answered.
