Her name is Ma Jia, 44 years old, a member of the Communist Party of China. She is currently the captain of the Network Security Brigade of the Southern County Public Security Bureau in Sichuan Province and is known as the "iron rose" of cyberspace. For 22 years as a police officer, she has devoted herself to maintaining the safety of the virtual world with the unique strength and resilience of women, establishing the image of a female police officer who is not inferior to men, and engraving her tireless figure in the dazzling police badge. Due to her outstanding achievements, she has won one first class merit and three third class merit, 10 personal awards and 9 outstanding civil servants, and was awarded the honorary titles of "Outstanding Individual in the Special Action of National Public Security Organs to Concentrate on Cracking Down on Cybercrime", "Outstanding People's Police in Sichuan Province", "exemplary individual in Sichuan Province to Safeguard the Legal Rights and Interests of Women and Children", "March 8th Red Bannerman in Nanchong City", and "Most Beautiful People's Police in Nanchong City".

Standing at the forefront of the trend and being a pioneer in transformation and development

At the end of 2019, in response to the high incidence and frequent occurrence of new types of cybercrime cases in the city, the Party Committee of Nanchong Public Security Bureau proposed a work plan to transform the investigation and crackdown from traditional crime investigation to new types of cybercrime investigation.

As the only female comrade in charge of case investigation in the city's cybersecurity department, Ma Jiayong is willing to try and challenge, and has established the city's first professional team for combating cybercrime within the county-level public security network security protection brigade, accelerating the construction of a "small incision, large depth, focused force, and precise strike" work pattern for cybersecurity, effectively promoting the breakthrough of cybersecurity work in the south. In her work, she fearlessly leads the charge and travels to various parts of the country with her comrades in the professional team of cybercrime investigation. She eats, lives, and works together, participating in the entire process of case investigation, including clue sorting, case management, on-site waiting, arrest and interrogation, investigation and evidence collection.

At the end of 2019, after the establishment of a professional team to combat cybercrime, Ma Jia's first case was the "10.21 Major Network Counterfeit Certificate Case", which was supervised by the Ministry of Public Security and involved multiple provinces (cities) such as Chengdu, Guangdong, and Anhui. The case involved multiple dens, multiple individuals, and close connections among members, making it difficult to concentrate and arrest them. Ma Jia was ordered to act as the on-site commander and lead more than 30 police officers to Anwei to carry out a crackdown and arrest. After arriving in Anhui, she did not take a moment to rest and immediately conducted on-site reconnaissance, discussed the arrest plan, and deployed the arrest operation.

In the past five years, Ma Jia has polished the "Southern Cybersecurity" brand and led his team to more than 20 provinces (cities) including Sichuan, Guangdong, Hunan, Zhejiang, etc., successfully investigating 155 cases of cybercrime, cracking down on more than 30 gangs, taking criminal coercive measures against 608 people, prosecuting 405 people, and confiscating and recovering more than 60 million yuan in property.

Fulfilling our mission and becoming the 'builder' of cybersecurity brands

In March 2020, Ma Jia was appointed as the captain of the Network Security Brigade of the Southern County Bureau. Many people said to her, 'You are the first female' leader 'of frontline combat police in the history of the Southern County Public Security Bureau.' She knew that this sentence was recognized and expected by everyone, but it was also a form of self motivation.

Since taking office as the new team leader, Ma Jia has made "building a first-class network security team in the city and creating a distinctive network security brand in the south" the work goal and direction of network security in the south. With a passion for the police profession and a deep love for cybersecurity work, she continuously researches cybersecurity technology, innovates work concepts, and changes work ideas. She has summarized and refined five cybercrime investigation techniques, including "Analysis of Cross border Online Gambling Crime Ecological Strike", and successfully completed one task after another, winning one tough battle after another.

In recent years, Ma Jia has been steadfast in multiple special operations day after day. The internet is the battlefield, and keyboards and mice are weapons. He has fought alongside his comrades, effectively maintaining the harmony, stability, and security of the virtual space on the internet, and maximizing legal and social benefits. She led the Network Security Protection Brigade of the Southern County Public Security Bureau to achieve a new leap forward, and was successively commended as an outstanding collective in the province's public security organs. She was awarded the collective second-class merit and third class merit once each, and 64 civilian auxiliary police officers were commended, rewarded or recorded by the department, province, and city.
