Sichuan Yingshan: Holding a special lecture to commemorate the 80th anniversary of the victory of the Anti Japanese War

On the evening of September 2nd, the "Member Lecture Hall" - "Yingshan Anti Japanese War" special lecture, hosted by the Political Consultative Conference Cultural and Historical Research Institute of Yingshan County, Nanchong City, Sichuan Province, was held at Yunfeng Academy. The purpose of this activity is to commemorate the 80th anniversary of the victory of the Chinese People's War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression and the World Anti Fascist War, and to review the historical contributions of Yingshan soldiers and people who shared the same breath and destiny with the nation during the war years.

At 19:00 that evening, the lecture started on time in the gradually darkening sky and gradually brightening lights. There were no empty seats on site, with both silver haired elderly people sitting attentively and young citizens quietly listening. They looked back on that unforgettable time together in the unique historical and cultural atmosphere of the century old academy.

The keynote speaker for this special lecture will be Ren Yinghui, the director of the County Political Consultative Conference Cultural and Historical Research Institute. He systematically sorted out and passionately narrated the heroic deeds and touching contributions of the people of Yingshan in the War of Resistance Against Japan, focusing on four themes: "united against the enemy, fighting against the Japanese invaders", "national resistance, united as one", "steel men, chivalrous and gentle", and "never forget national humiliation, defend peace". Through a large amount of precious local historical materials, he vividly reproduced that turbulent period of time, deeply touching the audience present.

After the lecture, a 15 minute communication session was also set up on site, where the audience actively spoke and asked questions, creating a lively atmosphere. This lecture is not only a historical review, but also a profound patriotic education. The next day, the "9 · 3" military parade was held, and this lecture allowed the people of Yingshan to witness the national event with a deeper historical resonance and a sense of pride in their hometown.

In the night, Yunfeng Academy regained its tranquility, and the echoes and power stirred up by that passionate past lingered in everyone's heart for a long time.
