Nanchong, Sichuan: Longmen Middle School's peer support practice for adolescent mental health praised

To effectively improve the effectiveness of youth mental health education, on June 4th, the Youth Mental Health Peer Support Project Team came to Longmen Middle School in Nanchong, Sichuan Province to carry out special supervision work.

At the work report meeting, the union chairman Wan Caixia reported to the project team on the overall progress of the school's mental health work, and the school's mental health guidance center provided a detailed report on the specific practices and fruitful achievements of the peer support project on campus. The project team highly recognized and appreciated the school's related work and significant achievements.

The project team introduced the Sichuan Province Youth Mental Health Peer Support Package project, elaborated on its core concepts and operational models, and emphasized the importance of the project in empowering young people and building a positive and healthy campus atmosphere.

The project team also provided professional guidance on the school's mental health work, including continuously deepening peer support activities, strengthening collaboration between medical schools, and focusing on the construction and effectiveness of parent schools.
