This year's June 9th is the 18th International Archives Day, with the theme of "Listen to Archives Speak". On that day, Yingshan County, Nanchong City, Sichuan Province held an open day event for the archives, inviting representatives of archive practitioners from various departments in the county to enter the county archives and experience the unique charm of archives up close.

Under the guidance of the staff, everyone visited the theme exhibition hall, calligraphy and painting exhibition hall, and special exhibition hall of the patriotic education base of the county archives. Precious historical pictures and historical archives carrying memories recorded the glorious process of Yingshan's development and the footsteps of our predecessors' struggles, vividly reproducing the glorious years of Yingshan's development, and bringing back to life the people, events, and things that were once active on this land of Yingshan, arousing people's profound memories of history; Subsequently, everyone also walked into the special collection room, archive warehouse, and digital processing room to learn about the arduous efforts made by the county archives in preserving precious ancient books, characteristic archives, and converting paper archives into electronic data.

Everyone listened carefully, watched carefully, and savored carefully, deepening their understanding of the history of Yingshan and experiencing the entire process of archival work from collection, storage to digitization. Everyone expressed that this event is not only an intimate encounter between the public and history, but also an effective practice of popularizing archive knowledge and promoting archive value, bringing archive work closer to the public and enhancing the awareness of archives among the whole nation.
