Strengthen the Awareness of the Big Food Concept and Build a Solid Food Security Defense Line

In order to enhance Party members' awareness of food security, strengthen their sense of responsibility and commitment, and improve the cohesion and combat effectiveness of Party organizations, on May 22, the Party Committee of Longmen Middle School in Nanchong, Sichuan Province organized all Party members to go to the Nanchong Food Security Publicity and Education Base to carry out a themed Party Day activity titled "Strengthen the Awareness of the Big Food Concept and Build a Solid Food Security Defense Line".

At the event site, Zhong Xueming, director of the Nanchong Grain and Oil Service Center, introduced the basic situation of the publicity and education base. All Party members carefully visited the food security publicity and education base, comprehensively understood the food security situation in Nanchong City, and studied safety knowledge related to food security, including seed safety, arable land safety, production safety, safety in the purchase and sale field, storage safety, and table safety. All Party members also watched the documentary "Establish the Big Food Concept and Hold Firmly the Chinese People's Rice Bowl", truly felt the achievements China has made in the field of food security, and further strengthened their confidence and determination to ensure national food security and meet the people's needs for a better life.

Zhang Limei, the executive principal of the school, gave a micro-party class to all Party members. She emphasized that first, the concept of practicing economy should be internalized in the heart and externalized in actions, starting from every piece of paper and pen in daily office work and every meal in campus catering; second, the awareness of the big food concept should be established, and the food safety of "campus meals" should be well controlled to provide students with nutritious, balanced, scientific, reasonable, safe and healthy meals; third, in educational and teaching activities and daily life, the concept of "practicing economy and the clean plate campaign" should be cultivated and practiced to firmly build a food security defense line.
