Yingshan Public Security Personnel Donate 18,000 Milliliters of Blood in Altruistic Gesture

Recently, in the parking lot of the Yingshan County Public Security Bureau in Nanchong City, Sichuan Province, a blood donation vehicle was the focal point of a surge of goodwill. The Yingshan County Red Cross, in collaboration with the bureau, organized a concentrated voluntary blood donation campaign.

At the event site, public security officers and auxiliary police personnel, under the guidance of the staff, queued up in an orderly fashion to fill out blood donation registration forms. Inside the blood donation vehicle, medical personnel patiently and warmly explained the knowledge and precautions related to blood donation. They also provided consultations on the health status of the donors, and conducted blood drawing, testing, and collection procedures.

Among the donors were both "veteran donors" with multiple blood donation experiences and "newcomers" eager to contribute for the first time. With determined expressions, they actively participated, using their donations to convey positive energy.

According to statistics, a total of 64 officers and auxiliary police personnel from the Yingshan County Public Security Bureau participated in the blood donation activity, with a cumulative donation volume of 18,000 milliliters. Additionally, six samples for hematopoietic stem cell donations were collected and stored in the database. These valuable blood donations will provide strong support and assurance for medical treatment in Yingshan County and bring hope to patients in need.

"We will continue to increase publicity efforts, popularize scientific knowledge about blood donation, and mobilize more eligible and healthy individuals to join the voluntary blood donation ranks. This will ensure the clinical blood needs and life safety of patients, and promote the continuous and healthy development of the county's blood donation cause," said a relevant person in charge of the Yingshan County Red Cross.
