Unite Youth Strength and Carry Forward the Spirit of May Fourth

On April 29, on the eve of Youth Day, a model ceremony for new members to join the Communist Youth League was held at Gaoping Vocational High School in Gaoping District, Nanchong City, Sichuan Province. The event aimed to celebrate Youth Day, inherit the spirit of May Fourth, and welcome new members. Chen Meizhi, Secretary of the Gaoping District Committee of the Communist Youth League of Nanchong City, and Deputy Secretary Chen Siyi attended the ceremony.

The ceremony began with the solemn national anthem. Jiang Di, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Principal of Gaoping Vocational High School, delivered the opening speech and announced the list of new members. Subsequently, leaders from the district committee and the school presented membership certificates and pinned badges to representatives of the new members.

Yang Feng, Secretary of the school’s Communist Youth League Committee, led all new members in taking an oath. Their loud and resounding vows demonstrated their determination and belief in joining the Communist Youth League. Wang Minjun, a representative of the introducers, led the study of the contents of the League Constitution to help new members understand their obligations and responsibilities. Ren Honglin, a representative of the new members, and Guo Qinglin, a representative of outstanding members, took turns to speak on stage, sharing their feelings and growth experiences upon joining the League, and expressing their loyalty and love for the Communist Youth League.

Chen Meizhi, Secretary of the district committee, expressed high hopes for the new members, encouraging them to carry forward the spirit of May Fourth, firm up their beliefs, take on missions, and contribute their youthful strength to the prosperity and strength of the motherland.

During the event, Wang Lan from Class 2 of Grade 23 E-commerce delivered a themed speech titled "Beating in Time with the Heartbeat of the Motherland," which was so touching that it moved the entire audience. The dance performance "The Awakening Age" that followed showcased the vibrant energy and patriotic feelings of the young students.

This model ceremony for new members not only made the new members feel the warmth and strength of the Communist Youth League but also inspired their determination and confidence to strive for the development of the motherland.
