Survey Promotes Maternal and Child Health, and Optimized Services Ensure Maternal and Infant Safety

On April 24th, Shunqing District in Nanchong City, Sichuan Province, successfully underwent a survey on maternal and child health services for the first quarter of 2025 conducted by Nanchong City. The survey comprehensively assessed the implementation of maternal and child health service projects by four maternity institutions in Shunqing District, namely Shunqing Maternal and Child Health Hospital, the Fourth People's Hospital of the City, Oriental Hospital, and Modern Maternal and Child Hospital, through various methods such as reviewing documents, on-site inspections, and knowledge inquiries.

This survey covered all core projects of maternal and child health, focusing on key areas such as the prevention and elimination of mother-to-child transmission of HIV, syphilis, and hepatitis B, maternal and child health care work, health education, management of maternal and child health information, and management of birth medical certificates, ensuring a comprehensive and in-depth evaluation.

During the survey, experts highly praised the innovative measures and significant achievements of medical institutions in Shunqing District in the field of maternal and child health services. Among them, Shunqing Maternal and Child Health Hospital stood out in the management of birth medical certificates, establishing an efficient quality control system. The hospital conducts monthly spot checks on file management through "online and offline" methods and weekly verifications of inpatient obstetric records within the hospital, significantly improving the management quality and achieving remarkable results in this area.
