National Security: Youth Stepping Forward

In order to truly enhance the national security awareness of young students and improve their sense of responsibility and mission in safeguarding national security, on the evening of April 14th, the Communist Youth League Committee of Nanchong Film Industry Vocational College meticulously organized a themed group day activity titled "National Security • Youth Stepping Forward." Teachers and students from the entire school participated enthusiastically, sparking a wave of interest in national security across the campus.

The school's Youth League Committee actively launched a themed group class on the achievements of national security education. The class began with a highly impactful educational film that immediately captured the students' attention. The film showcased the remarkable achievements in national security across various fields such as politics, military, economy, and cyberspace, allowing students to directly feel the tremendous efforts the country has made to protect peace and stability. The stories of national security guardians depicted in the film vividly interpreted the spirit of "national security personnel" who selflessly dedicate themselves and fearlessly stand guard. The students watched intently, deeply moved.

After the screening, the collective oath-taking session brought the atmosphere to a climax. All students stood up, stood tall with solemn expressions, and under the leadership of the oath leader, raised their right fists and took a solemn oath: "I swear to resolutely support the leadership of the Party, abide by national laws and regulations, strictly keep national security secrets, and in the name of our youth, step forward to safeguard the motherland's rivers and mountains and jointly build a national security defense line!" The resounding vows echoed throughout the campus, representing the young students' most unwavering commitment to national security and demonstrating their strong determination to protect the nation.

Subsequently, the student signature campaign was carried out in an orderly manner. In front of the long banner, students took turns to pick up pens and sign their names with great seriousness. Each stroke and every word represented responsibility and commitment. What they signed was not just their names, but a firm determination to safeguard national security.

The Youth League general branches of each secondary college also simultaneously launched themed group classes on the achievements of national security education. Each college integrated national security education into daily teaching by leveraging its professional characteristics. The Youth League general branch of the School of Art used examples such as news reporting and documentary creation to explain the importance of information and public opinion security, guiding students to establish a correct media perspective and encouraging them to "speak up" for national security in their future careers. The School of Film and Television, on the other hand, analyzed real national security events behind the national security elements in film and television works, helping students understand that film and television creation also bears the important responsibility of disseminating national security knowledge.

This "National Security • Youth Stepping Forward" themed group day activity, through diverse forms and comprehensive coverage, planted the seeds of national security in the hearts of the students at Nanchong Film Industry Vocational College. The students expressed that in their future studies and lives, they will put their vows into practice through concrete actions. They are determined to study professional knowledge diligently, hone strong skills, and use their youthful energy to defend national security. They aim to let their youth blossom in the relentless struggle for the motherland, the nation, the people, and humanity. In the future, the school's Youth League Committee will continue to carry out a series of national security education activities to strengthen the campus national security defense line and help young students become staunch defenders of national security.
