Nanchong Film Industry Vocational College's Short Film "Warm Light" Wins National Awards

Seventy-five years of resounding songs, together composing a prosperous era. On the evening of December 18th, the 7th China Red Micro-Film Festival Awards Ceremony was grandly held in Lu'an City, Anhui Province. The short film "Warm Light," created by Nanchong Film Industry Vocational College, stood out among over 2000 entries and won two major awards: "Best Micro Film" and "Best Editing."

At the award ceremony, Vice President He Weidong and Deputy Director of the External Cooperation Management Office Huang Lue represented the college and the entire film crew to receive the awards, adding new honors to the college's teaching, education, and scientific research endeavors.

As an award-winning work of this China Red Micro-Film Festival, the short film "Warm Light" focuses on the important part of the Sichuan-Shaanxi Revolutionary Base - Langzhong City, Sichuan Province. Through delicate cinematic language and profound emotional expression, it tells the story of people passing on beliefs and helping each other in the era of reform and opening up. It fully showcases the history and development of Langzhong, a famous red cultural city in Northeast Sichuan, and conveys the contemporary value of the red spirit. Thanks to its production quality and spiritual connotation, "Warm Light" has already shone brightly in various domestic and international film festivals and film activities such as the 4th Asian International Youth Film Festival, the 20th Russian International Youth Film Festival, the Peru Web Series and Film Festival, the 4th China Beautiful Countryside International Image Festival, and the 1st Sichuan College Students' Intangible Cultural Heritage Image Innovation Competition, bringing back numerous honors and contributing to the high-quality and rapid development of the college and highlighting the regional historical culture.

This China Red Micro-Film Festival Awards Ceremony was hosted by the Anhui Provincial Internet Information Office, the Anhui Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism, and other units, and organized by the Lu'an Municipal Propaganda Department, the Lu'an Municipal Bureau of Culture and Tourism, and other units. As the first national film and television cultural activity themed on red culture, this festival's work collection includes two sections: "Main Competition" and "Short Video," covering micro-films, scripts, short videos, and micro-short dramas. Since the collection of works began nationwide in July this year, creators from all over the country have actively contributed, and governments, enterprises and institutions, and major universities have also participated enthusiastically, with over 2000 works submitted by professional organizations, groups, and individuals, all contributing to this red cultural feast.

In recent years, Nanchong Film Industry Vocational College has made significant progress in film education and production.
