Sichuan Yingshan: The 6th Black Goat Gourmet Culture Festival Series Officially Launched

A food festival, a city in a boil. On the morning of December 20th, Yingshan County in Nanchong City, Sichuan Province, was bustling with crowds at the New Era Square. Around 10 a.m., Deputy Mayor Wen Yong announced, "The 6th China·Nanchong·Yingshan Black Goat Gourmet Culture Festival series of activities is officially launched!"

This edition of the Black Goat Gourmet Culture Festival is hosted by the People's Government of Yingshan County, with the theme "Millennium Yingshan County·Ecological Black Goat," running from December 20th to December 31st. The activities include the opening ceremony of the Yingshan Black Goat Gourmet Culture Festival series, special product and gourmet food display and sales, consumer product "trade-in" promotions, Yingshan Black Goat Gourmet Culture Festival artistic performances, and the distribution of consumer coupons.

Provincial Market Supervision Bureau Second-Level Inspector Jiang Wenbin, representatives from China National Chemical Engineering Corporation, Guobao Life Insurance Co., Ltd., Municipal Trade Union, Municipal Human Resources and Social Security Bureau, Municipal Commerce Bureau, Municipal Agriculture and Rural Bureau, Municipal Economic Cooperation and Foreign Affairs Bureau, Municipal Federation of Industry and Commerce, Municipal Employment Bureau, and participants of the Nanchong City Workers' E-commerce Live Broadcast Skills Invitational Tournament, experts and outstanding talent representatives in Ying, business representatives, representatives of chambers of commerce and associations from other places, entrepreneur representatives, and well-known hometown representatives attended the 6th China·Nanchong·Yingshan Black Goat Gourmet Culture Festival and Employment Assistance Month activities, as well as the opening ceremony of the Nanchong City Workers' E-commerce Live Broadcast Skills Invitational Tournament.

County leaders Li Hongbo and others attended the opening ceremony. The opening ceremony was presided over by Deputy Secretary of Yingshan County Party Committee Yang Jia.

Yang Xianjun, Deputy County Mayor of Yingshan County Government, made an industrial investment promotion with the theme "Join the Mountain and Sea Promise, Create a Dual 'Ying' Future." In recent years, the county party committee and county government have been unwavering in their efforts to boost the economy and focus on development, always regarding the industrial economy as the "core engine" of county economic development, insisting on tilting all resources towards industry, gathering all forces towards industry, and focusing all policies on industry. The GDP growth rate has been the first in the city for three consecutive years, and the annual comprehensive target assessment has won the first prize for two consecutive years; in the past three years, more than 30 enterprises have been introduced around two leading industries each year, more than 20 have been completed and put into production, and more than 15 have been scaled up. There are currently 431 industrial enterprises in the county, including 125 large-scale industrial enterprises. In recent years, Yingshan County has insisted on using festivals to empower the economy, treating the organization of festival activities as an important means to boost market consumption. It has successfully held 5 editions of the Black Goat Gourmet Culture Festival, meticulously organized events such as a thousand-person坝坝banquet, industrial product and agricultural specialty product sales, artistic performances, and investment promotion, continuously enhancing the city's brand, industry's reputation, and market activity. It has signed 30 cooperation agreements, promoted consumption of 1.2 billion yuan, and driven employment for more than 6,200 people. The Black Goat Gourmet Culture Festival has become a front stage for industrial development, a platform for exchange and cooperation, and a stage for cultural output. The once "beautiful scenes" have been engraved as Yingshan's "urban memory," and the "development dividends" it has brought have been transformed into Yingshan's "urban impression."
