Focusing on "gathering momentum, cultivating strength, and seeking long-term development", Sichuan Yingshan's electric and motorcycle industry has achieved leapfrog development

On July 20th, a series of themed press conferences titled "Striving for a New Year and Sprint" were held in Nanchong City, Sichuan Province, introducing the development path of the electric motorcycle industry in Yingshan County from scratch and from weak to strong.

In recent years, Yingshan County has firmly established the concept of 'industry oriented, industry leading', anchored the electric motorcycle track, persistently grasped attraction, strengthened carriers, and optimized ecology, and embarked on a path of industrial rise from scratch, gradually strengthening from weak to strong. The relevant person in charge of Yingshan County shared the 'Yingshan electric motorcycle story' with everyone around the three keywords of 'gathering strength, cultivating strength, and seeking long-term development'.

At the gathering of power, the county party committee and government have clarified the industrial breakthrough path with the electric motorcycle industry as the core track and the whole vehicle manufacturing as the breakthrough point, and comprehensively laid out the electric motorcycle industry cluster. With the goal of "building the largest electric motorcycle industry cluster base in Southwest China", we will establish a panoramic view of the electric motorcycle industry chain, accurately attract the main enterprises, leading enterprises, and key component supporting enterprises of the electric motorcycle industry chain, promote the electric motorcycle industry from "point breakthrough" to "chain synergy", and form a "comprehensive leap". As of now, a total of 19 electric and motorcycle vehicle manufacturing enterprises have been attracted. After full production, the annual production capacity can exceed 1 million vehicles and the annual output value can reach more than 4 billion yuan.

In terms of "strengthening the nation", Yingshan adheres to a problem oriented approach and uses three sets of policy empowerment "combination punches". Plan and construct a 1000 acre electric motorcycle industry park in the "park within a park" model, with standardized factory buildings covering 500000 square meters, which can accommodate more than 30 vehicle manufacturing enterprises to move in immediately. Vigorously promote the provincial-level platform of "Chuanyi Loan", innovate and launch 57 characteristic products such as "Business e-Loan" and "Science and Technology Innovation Loan", and increase financing for electric and motorcycle enterprises by 110 million yuan. In depth implementation of the county-level leadership's "package alliance" key industrial enterprise system, by guiding enterprises to transform and expand their capacity, deepening industry university research cooperation, expanding market order channels, optimizing precise assistance services, we will promote enterprises to reduce costs and increase efficiency, and achieve full production.

In terms of 'planning for the future', Yingshan will focus on three things: attracting large and strong talents. Focus on the leading enterprises and "chain owners" in the national electric motorcycle industry, as well as weak links in core components such as motors, electronic controls, and battery "three electric" systems. Solidly carry out on-site investment attraction and commercial investment attraction, and strive to establish more than 30 electric motorcycle vehicle enterprises by 2027. Continuously improving the industrial ecology, supporting collaborative innovation between leading enterprises and supporting enterprises, continuously enhancing the supporting capabilities of key processes such as spraying and electrophoresis, and vigorously promoting local supporting facilities. In addition, we will actively layout new business models such as intelligent networking and vehicle electric separation, promote the transformation of our products from the "cargo three" mode that focuses on cargo transportation to the "rest three" mode that takes into account travel and commuting, accelerate the expansion of overseas markets such as Southeast Asia, Africa, and Central Asia, and promote the internationalization of our products and brands.

Sichuan Ouwang Electric Technology Co., Ltd., located in Yingshan County Electric and Motorcycle Industry Park, has been driving 12 supporting enterprises to develop together as a "chain owner" since settling in Yingshan in 2023. Its annual output value has exceeded 300 million yuan, becoming the "core engine" of the Southwest Electric and Motorcycle Industry Cluster.

According to Gao Haichao, General Manager of Sichuan Ouwang Electric Technology Co., Ltd., the high-quality business environment in Yingshan provides a solid support for the company's rooting and development. Relying on the development orientation of "industry oriented, industry leading" and the "full process accompanying" enterprise service system, the Yingshan base has been orderly built and steadily put into operation. At present, the company's production and sales remain at the forefront of the industry, with comprehensive strength ranking among the top in the western region, and has become a highly influential backbone enterprise. At the same time, the enterprise has deeply cultivated the industry and given back to the local area, establishing a four-dimensional development path of "expanding production capacity, strengthening the chain, emphasizing scientific and technological innovation, and expanding foreign trade". The second phase of 100 acre base construction will be launched, driving 7 to 10 upstream and downstream supporting enterprises to settle in Yingshan and fully empowering the high-quality development of the county economy.
