On November 16th, the vocal public welfare class of the Yanyin Revitalization Project of Music Life Daily was held on Nanchong Avenue Culture and Art on the second floor of the Shunqing Golden Century Sports Center in Nanchong City, Sichuan Province. This public welfare class is organized by Nanchong Dadao Culture and Art Communication Co., Ltd., and specially invited Lin Junqing, a certified teacher of the throat training system, and Chinese national tenor singer Kou Yong as the main speaker. It has attracted professional vocal groups such as teachers, anchors, and opera actors from all over the city to actively participate.

The atmosphere at the event was lively, and the students were immersed in learning about principles of vocalization, respiratory control, and voice health. In class, Kou Yong demonstrated the application techniques of throat sounds on site, leading everyone to personally experience the unique methods of vocal fold closure and resonance regulation. Many students took the initiative to take the stage and, under the careful guidance of Kou Yong, tried practicing throat sounds. The loud singing and bursts of applause intertwined into a joyful ocean. According to the Music Life Daily, the "throat training method" originated from the research results of Dr. Lin Junqing, a famous voice scientist in China. It can not only improve singing performance, but also effectively relieve laryngeal muscle tension, reduce vocal cord burden, and achieve efficient transmission and lasting protection of sound.

As a way of expressing oneself that combines traditional wisdom and modern science, the technique of throat sound is regarded as a precious cultural asset and is increasingly becoming an essential skill for contemporary people to maintain vocal health. Kou Yong stated that setting up the public welfare classroom at the Nanchong Avenue Cultural and Art Center is precisely to bring professional voice training to the people and build a "classroom at their doorstep". This public welfare course adopts a teaching mode that emphasizes both theory and practice. In the future, it will also guide students to engage in artistic performances and further popularize the concept of scientific sound use. It is worth noting that the curriculum specifically includes a voice protection section for teenagers, dedicated to correcting common vocal errors in children and nurturing their voice growth journey.

Kou Yong himself is not only the inheritor of this system, but also a musician with fruitful achievements. He holds multiple roles as a composer and singer, and has been awarded titles such as "Top Ten" Singer in Sichuan Province and "Sing China" Gold Medal Singer. He is also a member of the China Music Copyright Association and the World Chinese Musicians Association. Under the guidance of Jiang Dawei and Yan Weiwen, he has created over 500 works to date, among which "Tsangyang Gyatso" and "Jiuzhai Snow" have won numerous national awards. In his view, promoting throat music is not only a way to protect excellent heritage, but also an important measure to enhance national health literacy. He hopes that this art can take root and sprout in a wider range, benefiting more people who love music and rely on voice.
