The Cultural Road Campus of the Affiliated Hospital of North Sichuan Medical College is Fully Operational

On April 15th, the Cultural Road Campus of the Affiliated Hospital of North Sichuan Medical College was officially launched, marking a significant addition to the medical resource layout in the North Sichuan region. On the same day, the academic event "2025 CACA Guidelines China Tour—Nanchong Station," hosted by the Chinese Anti-Cancer Association (CACA), was also initiated. These two major initiatives jointly promote the improvement of regional medical standards and the development of cancer prevention and treatment.

On the day of the campus launch, the hospital held a "large-scale free clinic·serving the public" event as a way to give back to society. From April 15th to 17th, expert teams from more than 40 departments of the hospital provided consultations for three consecutive days, with free registration for general outpatient services, offering Nanchong residents convenient medical services that are "same experts, same technology, same quality." The new campus also opened specialized diagnostic units such as the Special Needs Outpatient Center, LDRP Family-Centered Labor Wards, and the MDT Multidisciplinary Collaboration Center. By integrating advanced equipment and smart medical technologies, the campus focuses on enhancing the treatment of critical and severe diseases, minimally invasive and precise treatments, and multidisciplinary collaboration capabilities, fully demonstrating the comprehensive strength of the Sichuan Provincial Medical Center in terms of "technological leadership and diversified services."

The Cultural Road Campus will continue to adhere to the principle of "people's health at the center," implement the "1510 High-Quality Development Strategy" of North Sichuan Medical College and the hospital's "136 Development Strategy," and continuously optimize the medical and health service circle by cultivating new productive forces in health and medicine in the new era, contributing to the social and economic development of the Northeast Sichuan region.

On the same day, Academician Fan Daiming, President of the Chinese Anti-Cancer Association and member of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, personally attended the event to unveil the plaque for the "Cancer Integrated Prevention and Treatment Joint Construction Unit" and presented the hospital with the plaque of "CACA Group Member Unit." During the event, Academician Fan Daiming and the expert team delivered keynote speeches on the application of the "CACA Cancer Integrated Diagnosis and Treatment Guidelines" and provided on-site guidance in the oncology wards to offer cutting-edge ideas for the training of young doctors and discipline construction. Academician Fan emphasized, "The promotion of the CACA guidelines is key to standardizing grassroots cancer diagnosis and treatment. The implementation in Nanchong will bring more scientific treatment plans to local patients."

The launch of the Cultural Road Campus of the Affiliated Hospital of North Sichuan Medical College and the linkage with the "CACA Guidelines China Tour" academic event not only provide Nanchong residents with higher-quality and more convenient medical services but also promote regional medical standards to align with the national top level through academic exchanges and technological empowerment.
