Provincial Department of Education Survey Team Provides Guidance for the Development of Nanchong Film Industry Vocational College

On the afternoon of April 11, Zhang Lantao, Deputy Secretary of the Sichuan Provincial Party Committee for Education and a member of the Provincial Department of Education's Party Group, along with Wang Zhi, Director of the Talent Office of the Provincial Department of Education, and Li Rui from the Higher Education Student Affairs Office, visited Nanchong Film Industry Vocational College for a survey and guidance. Zhao Aihua, Secretary of the Nanchong Municipal Party Committee for Education and Party Committee of the Education and Sports Bureau, accompanied the survey team.

Accompanied by Kou Delin, Chairman of Sichuan Oriental Science and Education Group and the college's Board of Trustees, as well as other school leaders, Zhang Lantao and his team conducted on-site inspections of key areas of the school, including the Cultural Arts Center, School of Intelligent Manufacturing, AI Production Center, and photography studios. They also experienced the vibrant campus cultural atmosphere of the school.

Subsequently, Zhang Lantao listened to a work report at the school's second-floor conference room. Kou Delin represented the organizers to report on the school's development history, educational philosophy, leadership team building, and Party work, among other aspects. He expressed the hope that the Provincial Party Committee for Education would quickly appoint a new Party committee secretary for the school following the resignation due to illness of the current secretary, and also requested strong support from the provincial level in other areas.

In his subsequent speech, Zhang Lantao fully affirmed the school's achievements. He noted that despite initial disadvantages, the school has developed rapidly, undergone significant changes, laid a solid foundation, fostered a strong academic atmosphere, and maintained a positive spirit among teachers and students, all of which have set a good foundation for the school's future development. He required the school to adhere to its distinctive development path, further clarify its development goals and direction, and focus on a "few but refined" approach in its film and television major offerings to pursue a path of specialized development. At the same time, the school should closely align with market and industry demands to actively cultivate skilled talents for local industrial development. He stated that the Provincial Department of Education will fully support the school's leadership team building and promptly initiate the selection and appointment process for the school's Party committee secretary, providing a strong organizational guarantee for the school's development.
